GENERAL:
All sessions are on-location and use natural lighting.
Your session can last anywhere between 30 minutes and two hours. A minimum of twenty images are guaranteed with every portrait session; although usually more will be offered.

What To Expect:
I’ll arrive early to make sure I can set up and get accustomed to the lighting conditions. Then, we will touch base to make sure we get exactly what you are hoping to achieve from your session (A series of wall portraits, an album, or cards, etc).
With children, I like to take the time to get to know them before the shoot so they are able to get used to me. I also gently ask parents to give me space with your child(ren) so they do not feel they have to “perform” for you with me. With small children, I will usually not ask them to pose; rather I will simply follow them around and snap shots as they go about their play. This results in the documentary, real-life style in my photographs. I strive to not only show what a person looks like, but also reflect personality.

Travel:
The photographer will travel up to 60 miles round-trip from Beaver Dam, WI. A small travel fee will be applied to further destinations._

Clothing Choices:
Below is simply a list of suggestions. Please dress as you feel appropriate and for the "look" you are hoping to achieve. Any questions regarding clothing will be happily answered by the photographer before your session (or during your session if you are changing clothing).
Simple clothing goes a long way! Busy patterns, words, or logos will distract from your portraits, so please avoid wearing such items!
Newborns: Bare skin on newborns is classic! It allows to show their pure innocence and "itty bitty-ness" that goes away too fast! If you desire your baby to wear clothing, please limit it to one or two clothing changes to avoid upsetting your baby during the shoot. (onsies work well, but of course it is up to you).
Kids: Bright and fun clothes will give additional character and spunk to your child's portraits!
Teens/Seniors: Trendy clothing works very well with senior sessions. Feel free to bring along fun hats and other accessories! Your photos will thank you!
Families & Couples: Complimentary colors work well. Wearing the same colored clothing is ok, but please make sure the colors are different hues, or you will all blend together!
